Casa Padronale at La Rimessa, Montaione - Florence and Chianti
Dominant sitting on an open ridge, the fifty acres resort, La Rimessa, was a dream realised by Luciano Spalletti, top flight football manager notably for Roma, Inter Milan, Napoli and Italy's national team. The sun soaked pool area over looks the Valdera countryside's rolling hills to Pisa in the West and across Montaione to the Apennines to the East. La Rimessa's stone farmhouses are restored into five stylish fitted holiday cottages, each with their own external dining terraces while the farmland is given to vines, olive groves and forest.
During an evening stroll by the resort lake, as the spectacular sunset begins, you may well plot some day trips to the cultural delights of Pisa, Siena and Florence all 60 Km away, to the thermal baths of Gambassi 3.5 Km, or perhaps a 2.5 Km walk to Montaione for local delicacies and to sample one of its restaurants, bars/wine shops. You can get active at the resort too, there is a tennis court, rental bikes, professional gym and acres of open exercise space. The onsite team are on hand for your every need including grill evenings on request. La Rimessa is created for enjoyment. Maybe it will inspire your dreams as it did for Luciano!

Ein total gelungener Urlaub.
Angefangen mit der Buchung, die absolut komplikationslos verlief. Rückfragen wurden umgehend und ausführlich beantwortet.
Die Kontaktaufnahme mit der Verwaltung vor Ort verlief ebenfalls absolut problemlos. Mittels WhatsApp haben wir im Vorfeld noch einige Punkte geklärt und abgesprochen. Die Ankunftszeit haben wir abgestimmt. Wir wurden pünktlich erwartet und uns wurde die ganze Anlage gezeigt. Die ganze Anlage (24 ha) und unser Haus entsprach absolut dem Zustand, wie die Bilder im vorhinein suggeriert haben. Alles in einem Top Zustand, sauber und gepflegt. Das gilt auch für den Fitness Raum, den Paddel- oder Sportplatz. Das Schwimmbad war sehr gepflegt, konnte aber aufgrund des Wetters von uns nicht benutzt werden. Die Anlage ist eingezäunt und das Haus konnte mit einer Alarmanlage gesichert werden.
Die Mitarbeiter vor Ort waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es wurde des öfteren nachgefragt, ob auch alles in Ordnung wäre, d.h. man kümmerte sich um seine Gäste.Casa Padronale liegt sehr zentral, d.h. die attraktiven Ausflugsziele wir Florenz, Pisa, Lucca, Siena, Volterra, San Gimignano sind alle in einem Radius von < 60 Km erreichbar. Gute Restaurants gibt es in der Toskana reichlich. Auf Empfehlung waren wir vor Ort in Montaione im Restaurant IlScampi, was einfach aber mit einem sehr guten Preis Leistungsverhältnis und sehr freundlichem Personal ausgestattet ist. Ein Highlight war sicherlich, das für unsere Familie mit 10 Personen in unserem Haus gekocht wurde. Wir wurden vollständig bedient, d.h. die beiden Köchinen haben alle Lebensmittel und Getränke mitgebracht, gekocht, auf- und abgetragen und alles gespült. Auch das wurde durch die Verwaltung organisiert.
