Casa Tramonte is a spacious private cottage offering spectacular views and a serene atmosphere, perfect for those seeking a peaceful escape in Tuscany. Set in an area famous for its olive oil production, the villa is conveniently located just 100 meters from a local restaurant and 2 km from the town of Reggello, which provides a range of amenities, including bars, restaurants, and shops. With the motorway only 10 km away, guests have easy access for day trips to Florence, Arezzo, and beyond.
Perched on a hillside, Casa Tramonte overlooks a stunning valley landscape filled with olive groves, vineyards, forests, and charming towns. The Chianti hills stretch across one side, while the Apennine mountains rise behind the villa, offering a cool retreat in the warmer months, popular for walks and picnics. Facing south, the property enjoys sun-drenched days and magical sunsets over the west every evening.
The villa itself is part of a traditional roadside farmstead, with two small farmhouses and a converted stone hay barn. The rental, a beautifully restored barn, faces the valley, ensuring complete privacy and uninterrupted views. Outside, the olive grove garden from the lower floor leads to a pool area with fabulous panoramic views. A covered dining terrace on the upper level by the kitchen entrance provides the perfect spot for enjoying meals outdoors.
Inside, Casa Tramonte is modern yet full of Tuscan character, with an open-plan design that creates a light and airy feel. The large bedroom and bathroom offer a touch of luxury, featuring a sauna and spa shower. The welcoming owners are a couple that live next door to the barn and are happy to provide local tips when they’re around, though they are often out during the day, ensuring guests’ privacy.
