Es war ein Erlebnis und wunderschön. Sampath ist ein genialer Hausverwalter. Sehr freundlich und charmant geht er auch mit kleineren Problemchen um. Die Villa war mega für unsere Bedürfnisse - wir haben uns mit unseren Freunden und den Kindern sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Catering war mit einer kleinen Verzögerung /Planänderung unschlagbar. Wir bedanken uns nochmals herzlich für die Organisation und natürlich bei dem Team von Cucinando per Te. Vielen lieben Dank. Auch die von Sampath organisierte Weinprobe war zusammen mit den toskanischen Vorspeisen super gemacht. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an Bianca, Sampath und an seine Frau Sanji.

Wir waren von Siena, Castellina in Chianti und San Gimignano begeistert. Restaurants haben wir lediglich zwei ausprobiert-Ristorante Enoteca della Fornace und Catelnuovo Berardenga, beide gut. Ansonsten haben wir gekocht.

We had a wonderful seven days at our home in Chianti. Sampath and his wife were terrific. The property is very well-kept, and inside the home every room was well put together and very clean. The private chef was arranged for two dinners and everything was absolutely delicious. Everyone agrees we would love to return.

A fantastic week. We loved the villa, its surroundings and the fabulous views. We were 3 generations of the same family, grandparents, grown up children and grand children. We all had great bedrooms and bathrooms. The common areas, kitchen, dining etc., were superb and well equipped with excellent facilities. Everywhere was spotless and we also got a mid-stay clean. Beds were all comfortable. The grounds and facilities were outstanding with a lovely pool, gym and plenty of areas for the kids to run around. They loved it. Sampath was a great host and very helpful.

There was an excellent range of visits and experiences to choose from, all arranged by our host Sampath. Highlights were the visiting chef Claudio and his wife Elizabetta cooking us a 4 course meal from scratch in the villa, a cookery class another evening also from Claudio teaching the whole family pasta and pizza making, food which we then ate, and visits recommended and arranged by our host to the nearby Ristorante La Taverna Di Vagliagli and La Torre, both of which gave us a super meal and evening. We also enjoyed visits to the nearby town of Castellina in Chianti. In addition to visits to other nearby hill towns, we had a great day out in Siena, wandering the streets and lunching on the famous Piazza del Campo.

Wunderschönes Haus mit großartigen Pool, Feuerplatz und Gartengrill. Und nicht zu vergessen der tolle Ausblick.

Beautiful house in a fabulous location, could do with more than one bath and the mattresses need changing on some of the beds but other than that it was just perfect

Hele mooie villa, perfect voor een grote groep om samen vakantie te vieren. Fantastisch uitzicht en voorzien van alle gemakken.

We hebben heerlijk gegeten bij Osteria Di Fonterutoli. Het oude centrum van Siena is een must see en we zijn gaan karten vlakbij Siena.

The villa is absolutely beautiful with magnificent far reaching views in a fabulous area. The facilities are everything you’d need for a stunning holiday.

Siena is only about a 25 minute drive away and there are several other villages and hamlets nearby. There are a surprising number of good restaurants within east reach of the villa, especially in Castellina in Chianti but Ristorante Enoteca Della Fornace was one of our favourites, easily accommodating a group of 19!

De retour à Cresta del Chianti nous avons à nouveau apprécié le confort de cette villa et la grandeur des paysages toscans qui l’entoure.Mention spéciale à Sampath pour sa gentillesse.Evidemment il faut accepter certaines routes non pavées en particulier pour Castellina in Chianti.

Prima villa met mooie ligging. Ruime kamers en badkamers. Uitstekend uitgeruste keuken. Mooie tuin en zwembad, uitstekend om te vertoeven onder reuze eik met warm weer. Supermarkt op 20km in Siena. Enig minpuntje de zwakke airco in sommige slaapkamers. Maar het huis blijft fris zelfs zonder airco bij 34C.

We hebben zelf gekookt of BBQ. Siena is vlakbij met al zijn troeven. Het uitzicht vanaf de villa is adembenemend.

I visited with family. Members ranged from 91 down to one 15 year old. The villa was perfect for this wide range of ages. They have all asked me to write a good review. I write my own sentiments as well. The pool and the games room were widely used and enjoyed. The garden was a joy to see and beautifully cared for. Sampath is a charming manager and made us feel very welcome. One of our number, a great cook mentioned to Sampath that a couple of items might be added to kitchen. All together a great holiday.

Taverna Vagliagli made 11 of us welcome at short notice and provided a pretty good meal. We enjoyed an extremely good meal at La Perla del Palazza , Radda in Chianti. Saturday Farmers Market in Greve was an enjoyable trip. 9 hired electric mountain bikes and enjoyed a day out in the hills. Bikes and my mobility scooter were delivered to the villa without a problem. All of us loved the garden. We prurchased wine from super market on outskirts of Sienna, a pretty good selection. Purchased wine at Vagliagli, service sullen.

The entire experience was awesome! The villa was large enough for our group of 13 and provided excellent comfort and amenities. We had plenty of space to relax, enjoy the vistas, spend time in the pool, and even walk to explore the grounds and surrounding area.
Staff/owners were extremely responsive to any needs we had an even arranged a private chef for 3 dinners and a cooking class for 8 in our group. It was AWESOME.
The location is remote enough to feel out in the country yet close enough to Siena to have great access to train travel and many of the other wonderful towns and villages in Tuscany.
I highly recommend the villa!

Private chef Space and privacy Pool Views

A pinch-yourself property with breathtaking views. The terrazza outside the kitchen was an ideal spot to sit and enjoy your morning caffe and the beautiful sunrise. All of the rooms were well-appointed and comfortable, highlighted by the huge open kitchen, living room and glass-enclosed formal dining area overlooking the vineyards. (The glass doors slide open as well!) Services on the property operated wonderfully. (And the pool is spectacular). The personal attention was always helpful and immediate. Can't imagine finding a more perfect spot for a large family gathering like ours, or for multiple couples sharing a vacation.

Cresta del Chianti was a great spot from which to visit many of the area's great smaller cities and towns....with Florence, San Gimignano, Castalina in Chianta, Montepulciano and, of course, Sienna all within an hour or so. And the local restaurant (La Taverna in Vagliagli), just minutes away, is as good as any in the larger cities. Mostly, though, Cresta Del Chianti was the perfect place to relax when you want to take a day off from touristing!
